SILK ORIGIN

There are long history of Chinese planting mulberry and silkworm, retrospected to New Stone Age, most of original record   during Ying Dynasty and Shang Dynasty, prosperity in Hang Dynasty, mainly distributing in ChangJiang River area and Huang He River area. Just the cradle of silk in the world.

SILK ROAD

Come of  B.C. 5 century, east of  ShanXi Province XiAn (ancient ChangAn ), Passing west of GanSu Province, XingJiang Province, over Pamirs, mid of Asia , west of Asia and eastern Med, finally to Europe, total 7000 Km.

KINDS

Mulberry & Tussah:

Mulberry silkworm eating mulberry leaves, distributing in JiangSu, ZheJiang, SiChuan,GuangDong & GuangXi, Sinkiang. Silk thread soft and thin,the quality more than Tussah.

Tussah silkworm living in tussah tree, originating from ShangDong province with 3000 years longer history, ever recorded in <Er Ya> of the XiZhou Dynasty. The silk thread thick and rigid,with a little yellow color, loose.
